Prayer is important.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- Thessalonians 5:16-18
Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
- Ephesians 6:18
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words. And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
- Romans 8:26-27
Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain is a phone ministry of men and women at Grace Lutheran Church who receive prayer requests via phone call. The prayer request is shared from one person to another within each group of the Prayer Circle until the circle itself is completed.
In addition, prayer concerns are listed each week in the worship bulletin, including:
- Prayers of healing for members, friends, and extended family
- Prayers for those in the military
- Prayers for new births
- Prayers for family and friends of those recently deceased
To have a loved one listed in these prayers, or to participate with us as we pray for one another in this important ministry, please contact the church office by calling 610-966-3325, or email office@gracemacungie.org.
