At the Grace Lutheran Church Council meeting held in March of 2022, GLC leadership voted to make the wearing of masks optional going forward. Masks will still be available at the entrances, and anyone who wants to wear one is encouraged to do so. However, they will not be required in worship, at Sunday school, or for any other activities that take place in our building.
• Indoor in-person worship takes place on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.
• You may use any entrance.
• Hymnals and Bibles are in the pews and we are singing.
• It is not required to register attendance in advance.
• We celebrate Holy Communion each week using pre-sealed communion elements (wafer and wine, or wafer and grape juice).
Livestream worship services will continue on the Grace Lutheran Church YouTube channel, for those who cannot or prefer not to attend in person. The livestream usually starts around 10:20 am, with the service beginning at 10:30 am. Recordings of the livestreams are available on the channel to watch afterward. Bulletins (in pdf format) are available on the bulletins page.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during these last two difficult years. We all pray that we have seen the last of this pandemic. At the same time, always remember that as Christians we are held to a higher standard than the general public when it comes to these matters. For us, the highest good is not individual choice, but the well-being of all God's children, especially the most vulnerable. Or as Jesus put it, "the least among us" (Matthew 25). As always, if you have questions or concerns, please contact Pastor Samantha or Council President Janene George.
