2024 Apple Harvest Festival - Saturday, October 5, from 1-4 pm
It’s almost here - the Apple Harvest Festival! We are so excited for this event to be able to get together with the community and our congregation! We pray that the good Lord brings us a beautiful day for all to enjoy. We’ll have hot dogs, popcorn, drinks and delicious apple pies with ice cream or whipped cream and all for free! The kids will have a ball with games to play and a professional face painter, and we’ll all enjoy great music with a local DJ and the cake walk. To bring even more excite-ment, we are having a Basket Raffle with all kinds of great gifts and baskets donated by the congregation and area vendors. This year, the proceeds will go to help the family in Alburtis who tragically lost everything in a fire this past summer.
Of course, we need many volunteers to help make our festival a huge success. Many of you have signed up to help, but the more people we have the less a burden it is on everyone and it also gives everyone more time to enjoy the fair. If you have not signed up yet, please sign up on one of the sign-up sheets in church, or call or email Pat at the number below. We need volunteers to set up tents and chairs, post signs, run the grill, staff the popcorn machine, bake for the cake walk, cut and serve apple pies, help with games, and clean up. This will be a fun day for us to meet our neighbors and enjoy each other and let everyone know “Grace is the Place”!
