Youth and Christ Here Together

Y.A.C.H.T. Club an opportunity for youth, grades 7 thru 12,
to gather for fellowship, fun and service. One meeting and
one event are scheduled for each month of the year.

Y.A.C.H.T. stands for Youth And Church Here Together or Youth
And Christ Here Together. We've used both.

The cross, this one being the Latin cross, is the most common
of all cruciform's and reminds us of the supreme sacrifice offered by
Jesus for the sins of the world. The cross is empty to remind us of the
resurrection and the hope of eternal life.

The dove used here is the symbol for peace. (Not to be confused with
the dove having a three - rayed nimbus around it's head.)

The red flags on the top of the center are a semaphore.
Semaphore is a maritime communication tool to get a message
across. We use it as a symbol of communicating Gods Word.

The anchor stands for the Church which serves as a way to
anchor our souls so as not to drift aimlessly.
